Colombier where we decided to treat ourselves to a whole chicken which we
planned to braai later that evening. Big treat at R90.00 odd for a small
chicken.

... Even dirty old kebabs are about 9 francs, therefore, the supermarket has become our best friend. The hostel kitchen was really good and we were the only ones using it, whipping up a quality bolognese in no time (well Brendan did!) and even had leftovers which we'll save for tomorrow's tea. Sounds sad, but as the trip nears its end, the money nears its end too. Gotta capitalize on these opportunities! Night from us here Lauren and Brendan x 28 ...

... I wandered around the area looking for opportunities for pictures. I was too lazy to go back to the Hotel and get the Tripod, so just tried to brace the Camera against fixed objects. It’s really a nuisance having to use live view all the time, and I’ll be glad to get the Camera repaired and back to normal.

My stay in Bern was very short, but I enjoyed having a look at the city and hope to return some day when the weather is better.
