... to ride for 2 hours up the mountain to a stunning
area called Creux du Van which is an incredible amphitheater of vertical
limestone cliffs plunging down to the valley floor below. Although the view was
definitely worth it, the bike ride was certainly challenging. Although we only
rode 38kms the vertical climb was 680 meters. The ride up was 2 hours, the

... sting of the snow. It's funny as hell watch as they howl in pain in front of the girls they are trying to impress, who are only laughing because it's so stupid, it's funny. Sleep totally eluded me last night due to the whole "I'm sleeping in the same room as a woman who manages to be louder than a saw mill" situation. Switzerland has s population of 7.5 million with only 132,000 in the capital of Bern. Zurich actually has a population 3 times Bern at 379,000 and interestingly apparently they held a referendum recently on changing the capital and Bern won. As you can imagine by talking to locals, it is clear the rivalry between these two cities is very strong, along the lines of Boston and New York in US..... Not a lot of love lost you might say.... Would have been interesting to see a soccer ...

... tall man and a very intelligent man too. I think he knows about seven languages. He was just as welcoming as the others. It was great to be with a family and be loved and cared for like we were their own children. We had a nice dinner on the river because it was our last night as their guests so it was like a final farewell. Again we were very thankful that they welcomed us into their home and into their lives. I only wish to have more relationships across the world like this ...

... however that in most countries SIM cards are cellphone-locked, which means you cannot insert it in your cell phone (maybe your phone is already locked ;). But, in many countries, you can find places to unlock your SIM card.
I personnaly used my cellphone mostly as an alarm clock.
Regarding the charger, be careful how you store it : I was a bit heavy on it and the cable came off the plug.
