... a couple of other locations used in the film, but the weather was too bad to get good photos. Bus dropped us at the edge of the old city - streets were far too narrow for buses. Took a walk through parts of the city, but no time to take it all in as we were running a bit late from the traffic. Lunch at the oldest restaurant in Europe (803AD). Room we sat it was like it was set up for a wedding reception with chair covers etc. lunch was pork schnitzel. Apparently ...

Riding along past fisherman, tiny little villages and strawberry farms, even an old hippie, ...

It's late afternoon and I've just woken from a deep 15 minute snooze - stiff neck, pins and needles hands, sore knees and bottom. The last two due to a day of cycling, albeit with electric assistance.
    But go back a bit.....

Our chums, Murray and Brian, with new arrival Peter Sharp, texted us of their presence on the good ship My Story. We had already dropped off our hatefully heavy suitcases, and were looking around Passau. ...

... We walked along the shores of the Lake and the low cloud gave it an almost ghostly appearance but didn't detract from its beauty.

We stayed at Altmunster overnight, in a B&B with more stunning views of the surrounding mountains and typical Austrian houses.
