    ... praying. Trip to he loo cost 50c, as do most toilets in Europe, but here the attendant would go into each vacated toilet and wipe the seat with a cloth before letting the next lady in. We set off for Linz at about 4pm and the rain had cleared early in the afternoon so we could see the mountains that were just on the edge of Salzburg.     The return ride down the mountain was enjoyed by all arriving safely I the square. Time had got away on us, so we decided not to do the Miniature Train Tour. Back to the hotel to pack and on the bike path by 11 am.

    Day 2 on our bikes. The ducks wake us up bright and early. We begin our ride stopping very quickly at an adorable Gasthof for a warm cup of kaffee while waiting for the ferry which didn't arrive! The sweet Austrian lady did try to tell us something... It must have been that the ferry is no longer running! So we continue on the left bank, hoping the terrain remains flat.
