... raining a lot here and most fields in France are all flooded...a strange feeling when taking the train through the countryside and you feel like it's driving through a lake! I think after Tenerife the map that accompanies the blog will look like Indiana Jones had a sneezing fit while drawing it. Last time I was here, I couldn't walk yet. Now I can, yey!!





The Christmas market is so cool. Lots of people offering all kinds of stuff. I got to try roasted Chestnuts, sugar pretzels, and all sort of treats.





The lights are even prettier, but I wasn't allow to put them in my mouth. Bummer.

... out in the town; went to a salsa club called Havana Club. Yes, a salsa club in prestigious France. We danced like we were in Spain and short changed the bar tender when buying Jagerbombs (oops) that we were meant to sip like bacardis due to holding onto our small budget (oops).

Our host has offered a place to stay when ever we pass through and really has a special place in our travelling journey.

... as you cant grasp the real size of the elephant when your on it. It is definitely the best thing i've seen so far. It walked along and sprayed people with water out of the trunk as it went, also making elephant sounds. Brilliant.
The rest of Nantes is nice, we saw more cathedrals and churches and another castle, but the castle was a bit of a let down to be honest. There isn't a lot too it, and they have tried to modernise it ...
