    ... dead beat town but it does have a nice B&B and a convenient little supermarket to stock up with supplies. Some of the towns we passed on the way in (including Trois Ponts and Vielsalm) were stunning. They reminded me of a combination of the Rocky Mountains and Southern France. There are some amazing birds to be seen as well (both literally and metaphorically). Dad would be in his element.

    ... the bus. A couple from Sydney arrived at the bus stop not long after I did. When the bus didn't come by 5pm (it was normally only a couple of minutes late) Mariana decided to see of the police manning the barricades could translate the note de service. A couple from the UK said they had it had it translated & it apparently didn't make much sense and the bus company wouldn't sell a ticket if the bus wouldn't be coming!
