... assessed we went to explore old town.
Old town was really pretty. Nice blue stone buildings all from the local quarry. A castle and a church in the heart of town. There were two similar rock structures which we still don't know quite what they were. These were round semi circles in the rock face. Estimating about 20m high... so large.
Once we explored the town we went to the larges topiary garden open to the public IN THE WORLD. ...
Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. It is stunning...as you go around to the front...you see the entire Douire vallley below...and the statue of the mourning mother...it is haunting and reflects the reality of all the mothers ...

We walked around the hill far enough to find a spot, just on the edge of a hill to set our chairs. With a tv screen directly in front, views down a straight, into a corner and then back across to the main straight and grandstands in the distance, we were quite pleased with our find!
