Speyer, Germany

We made an afternoon stop in the town of Speyer to experience one of the few German Christmas Markets that were still in full swing into the New Year. We have arrived here at help past two BUT we couldn't find a bus to take us to our final destination. We have talked to the drivers in German because they didn't speak English and our German isn't very good.
Finally we have arrived, we have enjoyed this place very much. ...

Homeward bound to a gorgeous dinner of sauerbraten, salad and these little potato and herb pasta type ...

Really it is just a good excuse to go outside after 5pm when the sun goes down! I hate these short winter days.

Last weekend, Steffie and I drove over to Ladenburg, which is just across ...
