On Tuesday I went downstairs for breakfast at the hotel. I find the hours that they serve breakfast to be most interesting in that it is from 8 AM until 11 AM. While I am not typically an early-riser, this seems quite late for breakfast in general in such establishments. Howdy folks,

On Wednesday we loaded up the car with people and drove down to Speyer (Schpeyer) to take a look at the Christmas market. Even though Speyer isn't that far away, only 24kms, I have only been there twice: once for the Medieval Market and once to visit the technical museum.

True or False: Switzerland has the most official languages of any European country. The Netherlands however only speak Hollandish, but it all sounded Dutch to me.

Today was our most international, 3 meals in as many countries and a flying visit to Lichtenstein. Bacon rolls, pizza and the most expensive Subway in the world.

Despite having spent 8 days in the car we had not had a crossed word, but that was about to change. Another long driving day ended ...
