Yes, it had to be done and we did it. We finished our list of things to see and departed Lahr this morning but not before checking out where the Canadian Casserne was (my work place, the schools and the CANEX grocery store/department store). We also found what was the Officer's Mess which is now apparently serving as a home for social welfare types (if I understood correctly). ...

The bed in our Hotel Schultz last night was very comfortable and we had a good sleep - no rowdies to interrupt my snoring LOL!! Another excellent European-type breakfast with an array of cheeses, meats, fresh fruit and of course fantastic breads and buns. A travel blog entry by tuross11 on May 23, 2015

My train to Karlsruhe departed Heidelberg at 11.48 , then had a 30 minute wait before boarding the train for Baden-Baden at 13.09. Arriving on time at 13.32. As I said very organized. The station at Baden-Baden is located some distance from the town itself, but easily accessed by bus. Tourist information ...
