... so much!! I will keep that video forever! The GoPro was definitely worth buying!

We have met so many nice and interesting guests. It's weird because I've never been on holidays where you sit with other guests and socialise as much as we do here in the chalet. It seems as though that it's what people come for.. as well as skiing obviously but I think we give great hospitality!

... was waaaaay steeper
than most beginner slopes are in other ski stations. But I went up anyway, and
came down about 80 times faster tearing through screaming children learning how
to ski and snowboard while I myself was screaming out of fear for them and my
own safety. (Okay it wasn’t that bad, but you get the drift.) The second time
we went up, they told me to try and follow Denis so I could learn how to weave

... and I got to go hors piste, or outside of the slope. The snow was all powder and super deep which made it a lot of fun and made me a lot more comfortable about falling since even my tumbles didn't hurt!

We stayed on this slope for a while until finally taking a chairlift to the mountain on the other side of the resort. This one was quite intimidating on the map as it has nothing but blue and mostly red lines drawn on it! ...

... neither of us were ready to tackle reds or even blues, so, according to the map, we had to take the big chairlift to the top and then ride a green the long way down to the complete other side of the mountain where the majority of the green runs were. ... bus company has a similar deal with many of the surrounding mountain resorts. Because of this, we had many different places to choose from, but in the end, we decided on Chamrousse and Le Grand Serre. Both seemed to have the slopes we would enjoy the most and Laura had already gone hiking several times in Chamrousse and had long since wanted to ski it as well.
