To Bern... Or not...
Thursday evening, I spoke with Christoph, the maintenance guy from Our Chalet, and we made plans to meet Friday morning for lunch or something. We ended up meeting in Interlaken and going to a really good sandwich bar for lunch. They have this amazing Kambucha tea there that I absolutely love! And they make a mean Tex Mex sandwich with raclette cheese. It tastes like chili with cheese in a bread bowl! Mmmm. While at lunch, Christoph invited us to a German scout camp in western Germany ...
Day 14 - Lauterbrunnen Night
... and head for cover. We are on the 3rd floor level, near our walking path . We find the elevator and push street level. Street level is level 7. "I think we saved ourselves a few steps" I say.
After drying off, we have a good dinner at the hotel. We first ask our waiter if he speaks English, to which he replies in a british accent, "Oh yes. Very Well." He is from Wales and lived in Arizona for two years.

Scenic train rides across Switzerland
... city...so we walked around, crossed the Aare river that connects the two lakes - Lake Brienz and Lake Thun (after all, "Interlaken" does mean "between the lakes"!)...the day went by fast, and we still had to make it to Chur by night, so off we went back to the train station....
