... 40km hop to Villemagne in dull weather, ended when we reached the Weedons, in bright sunshine. Time to fill the cubes and for D to have a swim. And best of all, hot showers.
Friday was lunch and supper with Simon and Suzie. We brought some wines from Aquitaine and a bottle of an orange liqueur called Perigord. So good food and fab company.
Saturday again was warm and sunny and we went to the evening concert. Hmmm! More equipment ...

Packing filled the evening and then the movie 'Ghost Writer' on TV. We drive up to the Dordogne district ...

... We went out from there exploring for two days. Mostly a maize area. We found a huge new shopping centre in St Pierre du Marsan. 85 outlets. Rain at night, but quite pleasant in the daytime. Millie made friends and was offered all kinds of treats which we had to refuse as she is still up and down with her health.
Our next move was to an aire in Mielan. Well laid out aire with good facilities. The village was lovely. But ...
