... altitude sickness it was an amazing experience. Highest point was 3600 metres & not the highest point in Switzerland. The engineering undertaken to allow accessibility to this mountain was beyond comprehension. With tunnels & rail that takes over an hour and a half before your arrival to the top. The photos really don't do it justice. ...

... she had ordered the night before and we had some soup for entre again and a garlic bread……. We had earned it. ... amp; trailer unaided. We all clamber into the raft & start paddling, dragon boat style down the river full of nervous anticipation & silent prayers not to fall into the raging alpine water. The first wave of alpine water into the boat & over your face & hands that is hanging on for dear life is breathtakingly freezing. ... we had made on this trip. After their departure, we decided to walk to Trummelbach falls, which are a series of waterfalls that run inside of a mountain. Something different from all the falls we had experienced so far. The walk there was wonderful, passing lush green fields filled with cows donning their bells and crystal clear rivers.
