... are gone. Michael and his instructor wiggle forward then they are out the door too. After watching 3 teams head out before me my mind starts to have doubts and I get a little butterfly feeling in my tummy. We slide to the steps and the head sits back legs tucked back in the banana position and then I hear “ you ready, Well too late now” and Whoosh the firm seat beneath us is gone and the wind is there. My jumper's name was Woody, a tall British guy who was making fun of my now very squeaky voice. The nerves finally kicked in when the helicopter took off. The view from the helicopter ride was great though. And Woody pointed out a few places for me. After about 4mins in the air, the pilot gave the signal and ...

... and turns through the mountain with such force you feel the power of the water from each look out. What I found quite interesting is with all the power behind such a fall the end stream was relatively calm. Isn't that just like life in a sense, after major twists & turns we gratefully turn to cascading down into a calm stream. Instead of walking the path back to Lautenbrunnen we took the bus back. We returned to Murren in time to ship back to the states ...
