... a 5 stations on the way and offering us glimpses of the amazing breathtaking view we may of had on a clear day. It was cold at the peak, foggy and wet. The air was thin. We were treated to a few breaks in the weather where the fog would clear to reveal the expansive views of the surrounding alps and the many glaciers. My phone connected to an Italian cell, so the boarder must not be far from here. Unfortunately the clouds did not allow us to see the Matterhorn, can't win them ...

... 10 hour drive! We stayed in a camping ground in lauterbrunnen which when we opened the doors to our tent had the most amazing waterfall coming off a massive cliff - not a bad sight!! We went up to Jungfrau which I would recommend to everyone - we were so lucky with the weather. ... Pappas and I went to the closest waterfall which you could walk up behind and look out across the town. It was an adorable little village with chateaus and really friendly people. Later on we were served a Swiss dinner of cheese fondue with bread and roast pork and veggies - yum! We all went to the bar at the hostel and had a bit of a sing and a dance and met a few more ...
