... seemed to be able to hear conversations in the vans all round us which we hadn't noticed up to now and the heat was getting on for oppressive (Liz had to go for a shower to cool down) So we've obviously had the best of space, peace & quiet, temperature, facilities (no pool here, picky or what?) and everything thus far.
Thankfully (and we've noticed this before) our arrival often means that pitches around us suddenly become vacant? It ...

... our way to Christopher's house where we met him, his wife, and son. (We were greeted the French way, with kisses on both cheeks from everyone.) His sister Fabienne and her husband Bernard came, too, and then we were informed that we would be having lunch at their parents' house. We figured we would have a fairly ...

... Altarpiece. Another beautiful painting was the Virgin in a Rose Garden by Schongauer. The colors of both artworks were gorgeous. Of all the places we visited, I would enjoy living in Colmar.

That evening we enjoyed a farewell dinner on the Mani. We had a wonderful trip and hope to sail with Viking again. We arrived in Basel, Switzerland after dinner. Our flight left the next morning at 7:00 a.m. It was a short night and a long flight!
