    ... square to my hotel. It is a nice hotel. It was soooo nice to take a 'good' shower. I've been taking very short showers in Gimmelwald because you had to pay 1 SF for 5 minutes of water.     ... largely unchanged from its medieval look and is a world heritage listed site. Traffic is almost non-existent and you can mostly walk down the centre of the road. The shops are all under arcades with run along the roads. The river Aare circles around the old town which made a natural mote so the town could be easily defended.
