We got top and to the village of Diano D'Alba and stopped to look at the view. The village is set one one of the highest hills and on the site of an old castle was a great view point of the surrounding vineyards. An easier day today - only a half hour walk after our bus ride into the hills to in Castagnole Monferrato. It was a little hazy but the view across the vineyards was glorious. Hayfever struck once again - this time it was the snowflake trees which were scattering pollen everywhere. Illaria offered to take my photo with the vineyards but I declined - my eyes were streaming, not pretty. OK. I think Juventus just scored a goal ...
