Bus ride to Black Forest this morning. Walk through medieval Colmar this afternoon. Breisach was first European city. During the 30 years war, inhabitants dropped from 9000 to 900. Stork cam setup on roof of church to watch the storks nest. Trucks are not allowed on autobahn from 10 pm Friday night to 10 pm Sunday night. They must pull off road and wait until they can resume. The only stores that are allowed to be open on Sundays are souvenir ...

... and some unexpected discoveries of
war graves and memorials. Cover some of the Tour De France Route
    - traditionally on two wheels albeit motorised. Visit into Munster
town and can see the stork nests all around and then we go back over
La Route Des Cretes for an ealy evening ride - not many roads we have not touched here now.

We left our luxurious campsite reluctantly and are now back in France where our adventure began. The drive was long, but interesting. We passed by Lake Constance which looked very nice as a place to visit. The Zepplin was invented there and there are museums and airship rides! We saw two airships over the lake. Our route took us around the Swiss boarder, so close we almost entered once or twice! (It costs so we were avoiding it) Mrs Sat ...
