... for the day ......only to realise our hotel was at Ludwigshafen some three miles away! It was well worth the effort as the lakeside hotel Adler was beyond expectations with beautiful views from our room. An early evening walking tour of the village led to drinks at lakeside bar with very jolly barman. Also (very disappointing) there were no USB charger by the seats like most modern flights ...

On the way back we stopped off at a glacier and did a return walk that took 1.5hrs. Walked through the snow, on ice, weed in the snow! Took some amazing shots as well! Overall a fantastic ...
