The rain woke us up this morning at about 8 with the realisation that we had to pack the tent away so that was a slightly annoying start to the day however everyone was very well organised this morning and we were all packed up and ready to go at 9.30. ... in German was a challenge, but we tried our best. After the service, a couple men came up to us to tell us that they were related to us as well! Such a friendly, friendly people and church. I am so proud that our ancestors came from this community. We went to Derene's house afterward to have coffee, cookies and chat some more. We met Dennis DeVries, Derene (Masselink)'s son, who reminded us of our cousins the Van ...
