Finals & Fun, Day 2! [Day 87]
... arch until Chester came with the key to let us into the barn. As soon as we got in there, Johnny came in to tell us it was a false alarm (found out later something got burned). Then it was back to finish the test. Now I really really really have to pack; Huber is inspecting us first tomorrow, between 12:30 and 1, and I have to be all done by then. And of course tonight is the last American Night!

Finals & Fun, Day 1! [Day 86]
... the scenes from A Doll's House and those from A Zoo Story (which is by Edward Albee and now I must read it)! I am constantly impressed by the talent of my fellow Emersonians. Currently sitting on my favorite stair in our staircase, the one right above the second (upper) light with the arrowslit to my right. It's quite cold, as usual, but I hopefully won't be here longer than it takes to get me on the fourth page of my Intercultural essay!

This morning (and by this morning I mean by 8AM), Alex and I were going to do a bike ride to Germany. However, I overslept. Which actually turned out to be fine, because when I woke up, I saw this out my window:

I Will Survive Finals! [Day 84]
... nose was pretty much always cold! There were three pools that you had to dash across freezing tiles to get to: the fun current pool with a waterfall; the basic large pool with some jets; and the hotter, station-based pool with a heated sitting area in the middle, beds with soft jets surrounding you, and a series of very strong jets at different heights. The water was a little salty and made my skin feel really soft and moisturized. Very glad I actually went this semester :)

Sinterklaas & Lots of Lasts [Day 83]
Happy Sinterklaas! It's my first Sinterklaas, but otherwise today is a day of lasts and revisions.
Side note - Lauren got back today during lunch, woohoo!
In our last 1914 class, Trost put in a movie called "To Be or Not to Be". It was a ridiculous, hilarious film made in 1942 - during World War II. It made fun of Hitler. During World War II. Highly recommended!
