I woke up at 3am an thank goodness it's 8am back at home. So was chatting to Lily, Lani, Terekino and Kipa. Decided at 4am to have a power nap incase I get sleepy later on in the day. We headed over to the former Dominican monastery and did an audio tour. It was very well presented and informative. However, I don’t think life in the monastery would have been easy and I presume that the buildings were very cold in winter.
... had been hit by lightning. The fireman was standing in the cavity where the roof tiles once were. The whole area was black with scorch marks. Luckily we made it to the cathedral to take refuge!
We finished off our tour of the medieval wall and towers, then wandered around the mall area.
Had a quiet dinner then another early night as we have a big day planned ...
