We got to sleep in this morning. We decided to have breakfast at 9.00 am. This was a little different as breakfast was served to us at the table. ... Pädagogium in Schröderstraße and nearby is the marktplatz with a tiny little old church that you might fit 10 people into. But by far the best thing about Neuenheim is that I can walk back over the bridge into the Alt Stadt and get a great view down the Neckar River Valley. Of course, the castle itself was also a big highlight. Tennis player Steffi Graf, who was born in Mannheim but raised in Heidelberg, owns one of the exclusive residences with a view of the castle across the Neckar River. The view of Heidelberg from the castle was also amazing.

We then took the short train ride to downtown Heidelberg (charming! Worth a day or two ...
