      ... understand much of what is being said, I have noticed that Spaniards use their hands a lot and gestures to express meaning. For me, this is AWESOME! It helps me solidify the meaning of words while understanding what is happening in the moment. I am still having a difficult time feeling comfortable when everyone erupts with laughter and I have no idea what happened, but slowly I am picking up the language. Now, I just have to find my confidence to use the language to respond.
