Last day before I head home. Second lazy day. We have a late breakfast and then head out for a walk to the local shops to buy supplies for lunch; pane, formaggio and prosciutto. I go for a walk around the village, the first time I've done this this week. There are horses grazing around the village, the sun is out and it is lunchtime so there is no one else walking ...
... make it to Gilberto's aunts house by 12.30 and she has cooked a delicious lunch for us. So much food!! 4 courses for lunch are difficult to get used to for someone who usually only had a sandwich. Franca is lovely, very friendly and a very good cook! I've seen some beautiful places over the last few days and visited parts of Italy I hadn't seen ...

Anyway, we went down for breakfast and were given our rations of one croissant and a hot drink.
We set off out of Milan - we were so pleased that we managed to get out of the city without going wrong once!! ...
