Tues. June 10
Another hot day, so we went down to the Vltava River, stayed in shade for a walk then had lunch at a Riverside restaurant. Walked the Jewish quarters, and was just too hot to do that anymore so we took the Metro out to Zlicin, to another area with big mall, the housing was all apartments, lots of highrises and they looked well kept. Back home and to the park ---

Yes ....it is risky to be honest especially in such a small tango community. Trust me I am showing my skin on the market, literally. yet, I try to be as honest as possible because I believe that honesty is better for my own growth.. No matter how much it may hurt me I still do believe being honest is right. And because I sincerely do believe that people often recognise themselves in my writing.Or they totally diasgree and may think that this all is a ********, my own ...
... experience sometimes you don't want to share a room and a bathroom with 7 strangers, and even if they're lovely friendly strangers who soon become new friends it's nice to be with someone who already knows you, and knows you well. Though I think I must have acclimatised to it too well too quickly as my next hostel did not fill me with joy (no doubt this was made worse by being in the most lovely hostel previously). 3 of the guests in my dorm this time are lovely girls from ...

Even though we said no gifts this year somehow Christmas shopping was planned for the next day. Bravely pushed through the crowds and took to the hundreds of Christmas markets, impressed with our successful bartering skills. After loosing the boys for several hours, mum and I eventually found then happy as all sitting in the brewery sampling beer.
Finished the night with a yummy home made dinner and ...
... and beer, then towards the national museum,,, oh but that wasn't our destination, nope, we walked up a street of brothels, Ve Smeckach if you're looking for it. Nothing classy but plenty of dress up pictures in the windows. The objective was a cafe run by disabled people, meant to be interesting and supported by Intrepid, it was closed so we had coffee elsewhere. Then sick of walking through a dirty main city we split up and explored in groups.
