... yesterday where the best vantage spot would be and she had suggested the park. We climbed to the top of the park which is higher than the Castle but still didn't get the view I was after but as we wandered back along the path we came across a Pavilion, this provided us with a great view – see photo.

We walked back over the Cechuv Bridge and found ourselves in the Jewish quarter and among the very expensive ...

... festival, bought himself 3 bottles of wine, sat on the side of the street amongst Mexicans, Kiwis, Germans and an Australian who seemed to be a bit of a woolly. Whilst there Ivan saw Julia walking by with a gorgeous Russian blonde friend. Ivan said hello and thus embarked on the day of his life. Ivan thought it might be a bit of a scam, but went with it anyway. Ivan and his Russian girls hired a paddle boat and went out on the river with a bottle of wine and a smile. Later ...

... around 35 minutes. Here we looked around the christmas markets then went to the Bohemia crystal store for a browse at the crystal which the Czech Republic is renowned for. To warm up, we grabbed a coffee before Lauren walked back to the hotel with the girls to freshen up before our traditional Czech evening, while Ash went exploring Prague solo in the freezing temperatures. Meeting back with everyone in the old town square at 630, we headed for a traditional czech meal ...

Never get to a train late in europe otherwise you end up standing in the isle. I stood with my hands pressed against the glass of the window hair blown back by the wind listening to music imaging I was in another time. To me I was I was on an adventure, I was looking out over the rolling hills and green grass with ...

Said our goodbyes to most of our fellow passengers, then boarded a bus for a 7-hour trip to Prague. We stopped at Brno, Czech Republic, for lunch. Merrill tried the wild boar sausage and I had the Vienna sausage with a delicious chicken noodle soup. We drove through a snow flurry in the mountains. The temperature in Prague, "City of a Hundred Spires" is definitely cooler than what we experienced on the rest of the trip. One of ...

    GREAT!

We had an apartment, two bedrooms, with a living room, walk in closet, full kitchen, balcony, entry foyer, and a bath with separate toilet room. The place was huge....and would have been a nice apartment to LIVE in, much less stay a few days.

The tram stops right in front of the hotel and you can buy full day tram/bus/subway tickets (one ticket covers all 3) from the front desk. Passable breakfast, and right on the river. We awoke Saturday morning to a farmers market/flea market along the river right outside our door.....and it was a great market! On Sunday, we woke to another market, of authors who were selling the books they had written.

Decent restaurants within a block or so, with bars and such in the same block. Had a very good Chinese meal about a block and a half away. Tesco supermarket is about a block from the hotel as well, if you prefer to cook in the apartment.

We liked it....it was a good choice.
