Very warm today, breakfast on balcony, booked the Train for Salerno to Taormina at Reception for Tuesday. Walked to San Pietro (2kms), on the way stopped for coffee in Positano and then at the fruit stand high above the sea on the winding road. ... bill, the waiter said he had a choice of paying the bill or leaving his wife behind. He said most husbands pay but they do collect about 5 wives a week on average!! He asked if we wanted our picture taken but only after he and I had our picture taken together. What an incredible place. ... are excited to get home and see family and friends and of course to burn the contents of our beyond tired suitcases. But there’s a big part of us that isn’t ready for this adventure to come to an end. It’s been such a journey with so many memories that will last a lifetime. We are so lucky to have taken this trip and even more lucky to have experienced it together. What a great way for us to start our marriage and our life together.

Maiori, Amalfi Coast, Italy Today we used our three day bus pass to go to Positano and explore some of the towns along the way. The coast road is only wide enough for two buses in some places and corners only have room for one bus to negotiate. The road has a stone wall all the way on the cliff side.
