... likely at breakfast time! Then some small sweet pastries: marzipan, orange cake, almond macaron and a sticky fruit cake with hard icing. Strange but interesting . After this our waiter bought out a myrtle liqueur each. Myrtle is a local type of berry which is used in a lot of Sardinian foods from jams to cheeses etc. We walked back to the car , we have noticed quite a few refugees from Africa, they are all on street corners trying to ...

Today we got up and decided to just go into a smaller city nearby, Oristano, probably the third largest city here in Sardinia. So took a picture from side of road, you should see them.

We carried on to Bosa, a small town on the west coast by the sea where we had some lunch at one of the beachside restaurants. People were passionately sunbathing in the mid day sun amidst a mass of brightly colored umbrellas, against blue sky,the ...

We had a lovely hotel breakfast around the pool. Seems to be several people from many countries. We hear French, German, Italian and several others.

We wanted to find two of the beaches (Cala Cartoe and Cala Osala) that are supposed to be two of the most beautiful in all of Sardinia. Eldon had even read about one before even coming here. People come to Sardinia mostly for the beaches. They are really ...
