The trams are great: clean, cheap, and all electric. The city of Geneva (from what I could see) was really clean too, with recycling bins everywhere there's a rubbish bin. After a 9.5 hour flight to Frankfurt, a long bus ride at the airport to the next plane, and a short 50 minute flight, we are in Geneva. Figured out how to take a bus to the hotel, overpaid, arrived and finally got our room. Slight problem with our reservation - they had us down for 2 people only. Kids will have to sleep outside in the rain ;-) --- Went downtown and joined a festival... Walked around, ate drank, got wet, and enjoyed the fireworks... Everyone is beat... Off to ...

Onward to Jessica's castle, Chateau de Chillon. We drove through a town called Montreux and it was great. I would stay here a few nights, it looks a little less busier than Geneva and the lake is just as nice. It has a nice Fairmont Hotel and even a statue dedicated to Freddie Mercury.
