Onwards to find the Dolomites
... system kicked in as the tyres let go on the icy patches. One thing I love about this bike of mine is the Honda linked breaking system. On this system, if one applies the rear break it puts the rear brake on as normal but applies a very small amount of break to the right hand disk on the front wheel also. It makes it great for conditions such as this.
Because of this system I only used the rear brake pedal the whole way down this pass thus letting me keep my hands wrapped ...

Back to Stelvio pass we wind
... walk we went to the restaurant and had yummy pizza for dinner and a small bottle of wine. Rhys then went to bed very early to hopefully sleep off his cold while I got another small bottle of wine and settled in a comfortable chair with my book for the evening. I was also lucky enough to catch Megan, Neeve and Marley on skype for a nice chat.
Wine finished and the knowledge of waking up at 4.30am to catch granddad on skype I went to bed for an early night. ...
Starting the dolomite way
... small villages that looked like a perfect picture, so beautiful, so organic and harmounus....how they do such a vernacular architecture that look so good, in Israel we also have vernacular architecture but it looks ugly...closed balconies, outside plumbing...
