Tuesday 1st October

It is 8pm on the first of October and I am sat looking at the sun setting in my t-shirt (and I am not cold).
We cycled around the area today. We are ...

... point for the Camino de Compostella and also a place where a number of Camino routes converge (for that easy passage through the Pyrenees). There are a lot of cyclists here - they all look very professional and i am feeling a little inadequate (especially as I cannot even look at a slope upwards without shuddering). But even after a half days rest I am feeling much stronger and am determined to get over the mountain range. Start slow and get slower will be my mantra ...
