We ended up getting to the hotel at about 8 PM, so didn't have time to go back into town for dinner and to see the city. ... On the way back we went to see a library which was a cool architectural structure. Very neat to see art produced on such a large scale for so many people to enjoy and to use.

Finally, in June a bike to work initiative, got me on my bike for 50% of my working days. It took almost 2hrs the first day and then by the end it took and hour and a quarter, 24km one way. It felt good to walk into work with that ...

... This castle sat majestically on the water. When we arrived for our one night in Lausanne, we were quite surprised at the strong wind coming from the land out onto the water. There was no escaping the wind's cutting cold. Walking in a park, we saw this beautiful tree light up briefly in the setting sunset.
