... the city, river and parks and once again Jesse managed to track down and English speaking boy and became mates. On day 2 it was starting to rain and we went up the lake towards Lausanne into winery region and a massive parkland area. Unfortunately it was getting pretty wet so we didn't get to do the rope climbing that we had planned for the day. It was much sunnier on the other side of the river so we came back to the East side of the lake ...

Walked towards Old City area (very slope-ish and cobblestones) and after going in and sitting down and then finding some sort of issue with a few places, exited. Why?

1 - menu was light, dessert-ish, not quite what I was looking for so I asked T to leave (the server only spoke French and the menu was in French)
2 - no food served until after 5 PM, only bar (drinks)
3 - menu looked extensive in French, the English one has way ...

I finally managed to head to Lausanne. First stop on the route however was Montreaux and the castle. If the weather would have been shining it would have been more splendid, but we briefly visited the main street and moved along to Lausanne after taking some pics by the waterfront and grabbing a bite to eat. I was actually quite surprised about Lausanne. With so many towns being just that..towns..I was not ...
