... to our hotel rather exhausted and had a bit of a rest then headed to the local shops Sao Paulo for gelato and dinner, the gelato place appears to be the hangout for the local carbiniera (police) and was great. The locals here don't speak english but we are managing. In fact the kids are picking it up faster than us, my words are pretty much "Cest parla Ingliese" (can you speak english), "Grazie" (thank you), Si (yes), Non (no), Scuzi (excuse me)
