We were herded to the waterfront to see the Prague castle and Charles bridge from a distance before walking through the Jewish quarter. We learnt about the only famous Czech author, Franz Kafka, who's writings only became famous after his death. The story goes that he was a terrible lawyer who wrote in his spare time. We certainly got to try a selection of the local cuisine and beer for what would have cost the same as a Big Mac Combo in the UK. I ...

... waiting motionless for unsuspecting passer-bus to scare the absolute bajessus out of! Never got old. Then ir was a quick stop at the absentherie. Then I had to get some shoes in a massive 5 story shopping complex in the middle of town as my feet were aching in my all stars and thongs ( I should have bought my go anywhere pluggers, not these 'hip' black sort). That night we had dinner at a local pub to the hostel and headed into town to check out the 5 story club with different music ...
