    ... one that told us about the buffets that many restaurants have. For the price of one drink, you can eat all you want between about 5 -7 pm. We did that one night at his recommended place and the food was great.

    Bologna is not on the big tourist map, but that's part of the charm. If you're a foodie at all, then you have to give this place a visit. You won't lose any weight here, but you'll be damn happy you came.

    A mere 6 km away
    Star Excelsior is contemporary and as promised
    In city center directly across from the train station
    From our window we can see the morning and evening rush
    From our hotel, most of the "sites" are minutes away by foot

    Farmer's Market
    We have only 1 full day here
    So we pick and choose

    ... many old racers, beautiful shapes from the 50's and some ugly cars from the 70's and 80's!

    The hall itself is a very open structure and did do the cars justice, but it would have been nice to compare the Maserati and Ferrari cars of the day directly.

    ... mosaic tiles and lots of little bars and restaurants. All old but mostly well maintained. Main piazza and duomo had medieval look and were huge. Church was designed to be biggest in Europe till Papa stepped in. Taxi to Ducati 20€ for museum tour which had to be booked and was a bit disappointing cause factory closed this week. Lots nice bikes including first model Cicolino (small puppy) 100cc. Lots ...
