... that like in Italy, the water just runs constantly. Within seconds a passerby comes hurrying over to turn the water off!

Why? Because here everyone feels they have a responsibility to makes sure things don't get wasted. If someone sees a problem, they don't shrug it off and say "that's the government's problem" or "somebody else can deal with that?"... no... they say "this is my country! that's my precious water that is being wasted!"

So I wonder... is it too much to ask ...

... in the shape of an egg. We had no,idea what was on a table beside the kettle, an electric rather than a period kettle thankfully. It holds 4 cans of drink!

... easier said than done. There are wall to wall hotels but no restaurants out front. We found an Italian restaurant where we became the first customers for the night. The waiter attempted to interpret the menu for us.

Annette through that she had ordered a pizza on a potato base - wrong, it was a normal pizza with the 4 fillings in a quarter on their own. Mine, well I wasn't sure when the menu item was explained. He point to the palm tree out ...

... much that we thought we would bring the kids to experience it also. Unfortunately it was oppressively hot (38 degrees) and so humid the skies were quite hazy - usually you can see for miles.
