Yay for dietary requirements! We've been fed terrible thick bum sandwiches so I switched to lactose free diet for the rest of the trip. There are two gluten free and two vegetarians on the trip and now I've joined their ranks. What this means is I get salads for lunch instead of horrible sandwiches. I'm writing this from somewhere on a German autobahn.......or is it Austria? I have lost all perspective of time and place. I managed to get into a few outdoor/ski stores and like most Austrian valleys the stores are stuffed with quality gear for summer and winter. And for the geography interested readers the end of the valley holds the only skiable glacier that is open 365 days a year for alpine skiing. The other aspect of this cultural immersion is I have not thought about the Oilers once. That has been healthy for my blood pressure.

Not very exciting for the non-golfers but today we went to the lovely nearby village of Goldegg to play golf. The weather was perfect and the course was just beautiful. If you're not a golfer just enjoy the pictures. It was also completely quiet, except for the sound of one cow bell in the next field.

    After golf we ...
