CALLE JEREZ 25, Malaga Málaga, Costa del Sol, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands
... friends home! This former artist´s club is located in a 17th century townhouse in the heart of the old town and it literally boosts with history! Back in the 19th century it was the summer residence of "Eugenia de Montijo" (Empress and wife of Napoleon III) and "Ferdinand de Lesseps" (architect of the Suez Canal)! The absolutely perfect renovation and divine interior of this landmark townhouse make you fall back in time ...
Marbella, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands franzwillmesThis is by far the most beautiful city I have visited in Spain! Ronda is where the first bullfight took place and is home to the oldest bullring in Spain. The other students and I started out the day listening to one of our professors give a speech about the history of bullfighting, very interesting but after three hours I was ready to see Ronda. We then went to the bullring and had the opportunity to go inside where the fights take place. It was a feeling like no ...
Ronda, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands aperisee... order to get an early start in the morning.
Shae question for daddy: She's riding on his shoulders..."Daddy does everyone have hair in their ears? or just you? It's white hair"
Another one, Daddy is trying to get out of the parking garage in Ronda. It's very steep. He stalled the car 5 times and someone was behind him.. I'm laughing hard and Shae is laughing. She says, "Daddy you're a knucklehead." I really don't know where she gets that...;)
... ll have to take it another day. We drove back to Montejaque and had dinner in the Inn (english couple). It was a nice meal with great wine. We're really enjoying the wine from the region. It's funny - when you ask for a glass of vino you don't get a choice, they give you the house wine. it's always good though. We watched a movie when we got back and then to sleep. tomorrow morning is Sevilla (another big city)!
... just incredible. I could just sit on the edge of town looking at the view all day long. On the edge of town I heard music playing, so I went to see what I heard and it was two singers, a woman and a man (who looked South American) singing in a gazebo type structure right next to this cliff with an amazing view of all of the mountains. It was so amazing that it did not feel real. I also wandered off on my own for lunch and found this stand ...

... I put it to you that this is what swearing was ****ing invented for. A big scratch right along the drivers side door of my wee Micra. I have to pay the first 200 Euro of any damage to the car, so I´m thinking I´ll have to cut my trip to Spain short a week early. *******. The thing that gets me the most is I managed to drive around Seville for a ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands gary_cailin... permanently. Michael asked, "where you headed next." "Seville." "I spent 2 yrs there, you'll both love it. But be careful, the party doesn't end until the break of dawn." "No problem, not only can we handle that, we invite these festivities!!" We said our goodbyes and then were back on the road. Headed to Sevilla.
Málaga, Spain kylegdavisSo after a long and bumpy flight to Madrid, I had a quick connecting flight to Malaga, which is on the southern coast of Spain. One of the employees from the study abroad program met me at the airport and took me in a taxi to my new home. They live in a 4 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor of a building that's pretty much in the center of the city. I got a map in my packet of materials and everything is easily accessible either by walking or hopping on a bus at a stop a ...
Malaga, Spain laura.tagatac... second time, it was amazing. Adam had some chicken dish and I had yet another salad-tabouleh. It was AMAZING and it was spicy...but that just added to the amazingness. Saturday morning was, yet again, the start to another gorgeous day. I really wanted to go visit my friends who were spending the day in Nerja so I was sure to get bus schedules when I went to Fuengirola. Our only problem was that there were only two buses: one at 12pm and one at 7pm. The 7pm was too late and ...
