... have more colour here and there are more wooden ones. St Catherine Church was an early example of Baroque architecture in the country. The first newspaper published in the Estonian language was here.

Went for a meander thereafter with Mike, liberally taking pix. The highlight was the cathedral or Church of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ. Went to the Matador Cafe for a salmon wrap and java 8, retirement monies on the agenda.

... kitchen has been a disaster. The plumber came for the third time in one week and finally our sink is fixed. :D so as petty as it sounds, it was really great news for us! ... I did it shocked and made a horrible burning smell in the little box..it then it did not work at all. I know I was so upset, that's all I was looking forward to because I had no luggage or anything else from home that made me feel the slightest bit of comfort.
