... for the great effort with a bung knee and all.....  Our Captain Andrew with his consistent cadence put a last ditch effort to pip Marty in the final straight, both men finishing well.  Keith "The man of steel".....has officially been given the dwarf name of "crampy" due to the fact that he cramped early on the ride, and anyone who rides cramping on a climb it is the worst thing to happen.....kudos to Keith and with the help of TT Tony ...

I did notice Marty with his love of food had a "broad smile", trusting he has his bike seat issue sorted to make the climbs at least bearable...

... Spain which is tantalisingly close. Tapas beckon. We were welcomed cheerfully by Anna and Chris at our wonderful millhouse with cool water running under and beside and making the heat very bearable.
