... I drank excellent wine and beer. I reminisced over fond memories and then created new ones.

Thank you Corsica for the lovely weekend.

We are both in awe of this place - it is spectacularly gorgeous. We decided to maximise our time here and explore the local area today. First thing after breakfast, and it is a VERY good breakfast, we walk into the local village. It is a very old village, 900 years and apparently has a great ...

... what the words are - English and Italian have a lot similarities. There was something on the menu today that I had no idea about - the word "lupe" included. I know this to mean wolf, so got up a translator on the iPad and discovered that the dish was stuffed wolf. Seriously, thats clearly not right, but what could it be??? I feel damned lucky that I just ended up with mussels and octopus. From town, off to find our hotel. Roger has researched and booked this one, and he tells me he ...
