... was filmed in The Godfather before heading to dinner. We sat at a table that overlooked the ocean and enjoyed some table side serenading. Well, I enjoyed it, at least; the guys looked pretty annoyed. I haven't been able to get the song "Volare" out of my head since! We continued our stroll after dinner and stopped for gelato. So good! It was another perfect ...

... the edge of a cliff with an amazing view that I loved.

We could see the volcano in the distance and it was smoking and people go to the crater of it.

At the ampitheatre we met some people who were Aussies too.

We drove to another town that was built on top of a big rock really high on a mountain and it looked super cool.

    ... to the very top.

And it was so much fun walking around the top of the volcano.
And we caught the bus back down and on the way because it was super cloudy.
Our bus was so close to crashing with another one.
It was so freaky people were swearing out loud too.

I really enjoyed climbing up a volcano.
And yeah so that was our stay at this place it was very active. So I enjoyed it.

    ... with spectacular views.

Although the theatre itself has been modernised for use with a blue stage and plastic chairs - not cool.

We enjoyed our walk through Taormina's gardens.

It had lovely, well maintained, lush gardens and many interesting buildings that looked like treehouse temples.

We thought Taormina was high but we drove higher to another cute town called Castelmola.

Slept in a little this morning until 8 but we were still so tired, all the walking is catching up with us haha. Headed up for breakfast because our hotel is backwards and the ground level is 1 and then the rooms and beach is down. The seating area was beautiful for breakfast facing the coastline with mount etna in the background. Finally they had bombe for Brekkie mmmm. Today we have decided to chill by ...
