... the samari warrior outfits from the 14th, 16th and 19th century which were pretty cool! They reminded us of the shredder from teenage mutan ninja turtles film! Haha. The museum made us very larthargic so we got a Starbucks in the park and enjoyed the sunshine whilst making the most of the free wifi. We sat by the big fountain lake afterwards and enjoyed some more sunshine and people watched. There was an extremely drunken man walking in the fountains and acting like a ...

... points we were accosted by a girl dressed in a maid outfit, asking us to go into their 'maid cafe'. We were understandably hesitant but eventually gave in and agreed to go into one. Wifi is available, however, only if there is an ...

... for some reason, this was the official start to our adventure so an upgrade on the first night was a great start, although if I was looking for an upgrade I don't think I would have chose here, but there you go. Wednesday December 17th We had a nine thirty flight out of Rotorua to Auckland, then the rest of the day in Auckland before flying to Tokyo early tomorrow morning. All we had to do was drop off the mower and car at the storage, then hop across the road to the ...

A key place to go while in Tokyo is the fish market. Every morning this is where they have a massive tuna auction that is very similar to Wall Street where purchasers come in and for hours in the morning they bid and barter and at the end of it all of the fish is packed up and transported to the restaurants and stores. To see the auction you need to get up at 4:30 and wait in line so instead we got there at 6:30 to partake in ...
