... with a casino and duty free shops. We got there early so we got a great table on the sundeck and enjoyed leaving the harbour to the sounds of Crowded House!! Very popular here in Italy. The ferry ride was gorgeous and the sunset was stunning as we left Italy. We slept the night and arrived in Croatia as the sun came up in the morning. It was a wonderful ferry ride , very beautiful and as flat as a pond and really warm. Bye for now - Grace

So after cancelling some of our plans and accommodation we were told there wasn't any availability for hotels for Mugello. We decided we'd go to Rossi's village Tavullia and then make plans from there.

So here we are finally in Mugello seeing a GP race, staying in ...

... the sun and the water. It was obviously not tourist season yet. We had the whole beach to ourselves or so it seemed.

We then borrowed bikes from our hotel and rode along the bike paths throughout the town. There were dozens of restaurants and cafes all along the water. The weather was glorious.

Paul contacted our car rental company, and he made arrangements for a late return of the car so we could spend time at the ...

Today we had an early start to the day to cram as much sightseeing in as possible. I found my croissant filled with custard this morning. Amazing! We hit the road for Camerano in the Conero National Park. Yesterday we booked a tour through the Grotte di Camerano (Camerano Caves), which is a labyrinth of underground tunnels and caves used by the Camerano family for secret meetings and, I think, at one point a prison. It's hard to say exactly as there were no English tours, ...
