Today it was time to leave Switzerland and head back north into Germany. We got an early start because breakfast wasn't included at our hotel, so we grabbed some coffee from the lounge and headed out. After paying about CHF30 for overnight parking, we headed north towards Schaffhausen to see the Rheinfall.

... a village, amazed to find a Butchers!!!! hurray, closed of course as it's Sunday. Also a bakers, general shop and a few cafes and a restaurant or two. The campsite is walking distance to the village. We stopped for Coffee and Kuchen, a huge slice of national park cake was placed in front of us, a blueberry and cream torte, ordered in German as the waitress pretended to speak zero English.

It seems the locals do family things, the parks were busy, lots of people on bikes and everyone seemed to be eating ice creams. We also felt this was a genuine small German town, as it was not touristy at all.
