      ... but they were definitely stronger. Also had a shot with lee Dan and Israeli girls of tequila but lime dipped in sugar and coffee. Went out to revolution bar, danced a bit of salsa, live band then music playing. Bought me lee and Dan shot of tequila, bloody expensive! Pretty drunk, local guy said always wanted to snog a European so I hid and quickly snogged him. Then slomidt, Dan, lee and I left to go home but stumbled across another ...

      ... while I was a disappointed and needed some work, as i had spent toooooo much money buying mexican blankets and embroidery, we decided to stay in PE and go surfing. YAY! No work and a great beginners beach, tucked away on a little cove away from the crashing swell of the main beach. Loved it...and seriously I think i am getting better at this surfing thing!

      ... fizzy drink and let the gas escape out which we were told is an offering to the saints and to God. It really was so unique and something I would never of expected, seeing a statue of Jesus on one side of the church and traditional Mayans sitting on the floor with a dozen candles lit in front of them while they chant what I assume is a prayer over and over in their local dialect.       ... all that we boarded the overnight bus for an 11 hour journey to San Cristobal de las Casas which was far better than it sounds, especially if you sleep as well as I do on any public transport. San Christobal is famed for amber and chocolate- with numerous chocolate houses offering tasty drinks. I've been to El Canon del Sumidero where a 2 hour boat trip takes you through the canyon and we saw crocodiles and monkeys. Moving on again tomorrow to ...
