We had another early start for our train, which left Berlin Hauptbahnhof at 8:50am. We got some Starbucks coffees, a pastry and some weird yogurt and fruit cups which had things like starfruit, pineapple and melon in them. Welcome to Cologne the receptionist said.. the forecast is for rain, snow and -1 degree...guess that is what German winters are about.
Rugged up we venture out of doors and find it suprisly crisp cool but not bitterly cold or unpleasant. Umbrellas are up, and we join the groups wandering around the Cologne Cathedral. Being a Monday it allows us the room and less crowds to view this gigantic church that towers above all ...

Brussels turned on a dark cold morning which turned into a light snow ..probably sleet actually..as we traversed back to the station..Cologne bound... a journey of 220 kms in 1:47 mins.. the further into Germany we travelled , the heavier the snow.. viewed through the window it was magical..all the stuff movies, dreams and white Christmas' are made of... By the time Cologne appeared the weather had again ...

... Das ist ein umgebauter Mercedes Sprinter. Der hat zusätzlich noch nette Zusatzgeräte wie Gaskocher, Microwelle, LCD-TV etc.. Da kann man wirklich nicht mehr vom Camping sprechen, sondern eher vom Glamping (Glamour und Camping). Der Fernseher ist wirklich Quatsch. In NZ kann man einfach die Natur anschauen. Die hat auch in der Regel eine bessere Auflösung.

  • Einige Campingplätze. Wir werden in der Hochsaison (Jan/Feb) unterwegs sein und deswegen sollte man ...
