Just passing through
Hos collected us from Senaru and after a few attempts managed to find a hotel for us that actually had rooms. Mataram is the largest town on Lombok by quite a long way - although with very little to see here, and being very close to Senggigi has few tourists stay for long (so why are all the hotels full?)

Lombok here we come !
... now as we have a 2 hour minibus ride, now all of us packed into one bus with all our rucksacks strapped to the roof ! The style of the villages has changed as we have left Hindu and buddist with loads of temples and in Lombok is Muslim and its also Ramadan and they are all fasting during daylight.
