    ... in the outdoors and hiking, do this hike!! Dinner on the ridge devoured(I basically ate 3 dinners here). We slept to prepare for the summit climb at 3 am the following day. My god, I slept like a rock in that tent.     ... found somewhere to stow our bags. Most of the passengers were sat in aeroplane-style seating in one large compartment, but we were offered to share a bench seat at the front with a Senggigi local named Eddy and his Dutch wife Rita. The heat and the choppy waters didn't make for a very comfortable crossing, and we were glad to set foot on Lombok.

    Having spent all that pain and effort ascending the volcano, the next day we went back down the same route, thus exercising (to the limit) any remaining muscles that had escaped the punishment of the first day.

    ... which is the party side of the island. We got dinner that was amazing. Tuna steak with a wase sauce. The fish here is super fresh they catch it daily. Its so fresh that they run out of fish at the end of the day - we know this because we were pretty late for dinner and a some places ran out of's safe to say that any restaurant you stepped foot into you'll have an amazing experience on this island.
