    Laundry day

Stopping in Mataram to get our laundry situation sorted. It was very needed! The internet is very hard to get here. We will be sailing to Flores for the next 4 days, via Sumbawa and Komodo. Definitely won't be able to keep in touch until we get back.
We are flying to Manila from Denpasar on July 9th so we will have a little less than a week to spend in Bali when we return. Time flies!!

The exterior is very colourful, there is a pool, lots of pets as the owner likes to look after and care for street cats and dogs and our room is a little bungalow hand made out of rattan it's amazing !! We spent the day by a secret little beach florian knows, which you can only reach by trekking through a dirt track and a little forest like mountain (which has amazing views from the top) ...

We made what was probably the wrong decision, to have a second Shisha. Grape and Mint, which also tasted like melon. As they go on and on, and we were tired, we gave it little more than 15mins attention. All in all, 2 Mojitos 2 Singapore slings 2 Long Island ice teas, 2 shishas, and tapas (as above) ran to approx ...

... by prayer call at 0430 every morning. Why they insist on inflicting their beliefs on everyone on the island I've no idea. I fully embrace peoples right to practice their religion - I just don't like being woken up in the process. Oh another thing - the island prides itself on no vehicles and no dogs but it appears puss-in-boots was left off the memo as half of Indo's cat population have decided to call it home. Quite strange to see them roam the beach chasing ...

... can be solved. Strangely enough they where! We decided to have an icecream and the fellow selling them spoke exceedingly good English, so we asked him if there was a lion air office in town that we could book our ticket from. To our surprise he said that there was one just behind the mall. This was all sounding a little too easy but with high spirits and a smattering of pessimism we set off to look for the ticket office. We got to the rear of the mall and ...
