... it was so humid in there I couldn't bear to stay for long. It fogged up my camera lens too. Of course, in true Deborah fashion, I have caught a cold just as I go travelling. Scoot fly the 787 Dreamliner which has some very good features, better air con, more space, 30% bigger windows with electronic window dimmers ( no shades) that can also be controlled by the crew. It's a wonderful aircraft to fly. I am staying in Orchard Road area. Lonely Planet comments that "Shopping is Singapore's national sport and Orchard Road is its Olympic-sized training ground. Had breakie in a rather chaotic hotel and then headed for the Lego Theme park, they also have a Water Park which we will expilore tomorrow. What a day, rides galore, we all had great fun as you can see from the pics. What can be more satisfying than a bit of retail therapy after a tough day in the Lego Land Theme ...

... restaurant just across the street from his place. After spending some time looking over the menu we had a really good laugh because when we started to ask Jim what he thought about various dishes, he finally had to admit that even though he ate at this restaurant at least once a week, the only thing he had ever ordered there were the steamed gyoza and the bean sprouts! Luckily all of the food turned out to be really good so hopefully we helped to broaden Jim’s options ...
