All Hands Work Week 4
This was a crazy week at the site because we had an event with the Mayor and then a Senator came and had a volunteer day. Still, got a lot done besides the prep for events. On Tuesday I only had a half day because I had to get my Visa extended. Worked out perfectly because our private Jeepney was going to a hardware store nearby. ... garden. He is lucky with the space he has to grow on. Afterwards we went home and went out to dinner with Marloun on his actual birthday, Thai food! It was mostly fantastic except for the mango spring rolls.
Overall I loved this weekend. I was able to get to know Cagayan de Oro on a more personal level and it took a bit of my heart! Now I am personally more invested in the well being of this awesome and generous city.

There was sisig which is Pig's head. Tried it, didn't like it, move on. My sausage was good as well as some of the beef.
