The place is called 'Casa Angela' and funnily enough it's named after her. Angela welcomed us into our 'Appartment' for the night and offered us Coffee and Cake. Nice touch I thought. The apartment is nothing to get excited about, but it's only 1 night and it's relatively inexpensive! We have loved every minute of our travels in Slovenia. Tomorrow we will drive through the country's only national park, which has 50 hairpin turns...something tells me that will be both exciting and ...

... free time. On the way back, our guide is quiet, and most of the boat trippers fall immediately asleep. We feel tired but manage to keep our eyes open to enjoy all the sights of what we have previously been informed were a surprising number of monasteries, ‘built then abandoned’. On return, we snap a picture in the main square and then jump on the waterbus to take us back. We are in plenty of time so we can both have a shower before we leave, and we then drive to our last stop in Italy, ...
