So what did I achieve in Goa?
Went to beach several times. see attached for proof and also proof that cows really do go on beaches in India

Updated the blog (v important!)
Relaxed
Went on boat thru mangroves and saw crocs and birds (cormorants, storks, cranes, kites ...
... friends if I could. Just thinking that at this time 4 days here will get us some quality time with the kids and also let them focus on homework and a little relaxation. After Goa, we are off to Delhi with Bhupesh’s brother and his family, and we have some extensive sightseeing in store for us as well.
Goa, Goa, India asksarita... Hindi to the man next to me on the connecting flight i finally arrived in Goa. I was taken to my home stay, had some food and tried to sleep off the jet lag with my room mate having a coughing fit every 10 minutes. Shes still alive which is good!

Apart from updating this blog with more stories from Bhutan, reading (2 new books purchased at airport) sitting around doing nothing, odd splash in the sea. Nothing much else planned.....Only thing I may do is a boat into the mangroves to see some birds and crocs but I'll see how much energy I have!!
So this is where I will be until 9th December. After that I will see what I feel like doing It's a hard life.........

He told me his name was Sonu and he began to show me a whole several gorgeous saris ... but unlike all the other sales people we have encountered in shops across India in the last five years ... Sonu draped the fabrics on himself! With tremendous flourish, I might add ...
Goa, Goa, India mayaroshni... needed some good old R&R before the end of the trip.
I did however, venture out for dinner at a great little restaurant set in the terrace gardens of the house...It's called the Stone House and it was a lush little haven! The food was yummy (see food post later). They also had a singer taking requests for the diners....the mozzies were out in full force, but a mozzie coil did a good job when placed at my feet under the table!

The problem was, that we had seen it all before. It was more of the same in all of the stalls. Belts, scarfs, block print tapestries, jewelry, etc.

... to give light, and the only tool being a small spanner (I acted as the jack, tilting the rickshaw while the driver changed the wheel). Then it turned out that there was a huge slash in his spare tyre so that was as bad as the one we took off! Nevermind. I got back safely in the end! I'm now off to try and find a friend I met yesterday, who's asked me to join him for lunch. Seems like an interesting chap, so let's see what happens!
