... high up in the Apennines Mountains. I went on the perfect sunny fall day. San Marino is noted as a medieval city and its three huge watch towers on the edge of the mountain. We arrived at our hotel just South of the Port town of Ancona in an area known as Portonuovo which has a commanding view of the sea from a bluff. Very quite except.....for the wind. All in all a very enjoyable day.

... except to say that we finished the day feeling very relaxed’. We topped off our relaxing day doing something by an evening beach walk. It was lovely to leave the apartment and do something that is at least worth remembering otherwise our day would have been a full day of something that really means ...

... We have all decided that our next holiday will definitely not be a driving holiday, maybe a resort holiday in Thailand or something. We arrived in Riccione at around 4.00pm and our apartment was big, clean and lovely, just what we needed for our rest stop. Lyndon and I headed out to find the supermarket that we had driven past earlier but as usual this was way harder than it should have been. Petty led us to a couple but they were ...
